On the streets of French cities, more and more often you can hear and see fanatics of unicycles, who entertain themselves with dangerous competitions. According to unofficial information, the situation is getting out of control uniformed officers.

City residents, noticing the problem of noisy and dangerous motorcycle races, turn to the uniformed services for help. Unfortunately, the local police have stopped dealing with the motorcyclists’ crushes, despite stricter penalties.

The issue is said to be hushed up by the administration, which is said to be afraid of accidents and riots. Since 2018, when the law toughening penalties for racers came into force, as many as 63. thousand interventions have been recorded, but only 6450 people have been punished. Police officers explain the difficulties in questioning the perpetrators

Most street racing is recorded in the departments of Seine-Saint-Denis and Yvelines in the Ile-de-France region and Rhône in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
