Rin Zandbelt gave his father an amazing present for his 90th birthday. Getting the motorcycle back was extremely difficult, but it helped that the unicycle had been in the Netherlands the whole time.

The Zadbelt family, who live in Canada, are originally from the Netherlands. It was there that Rin’s father left his motorcycle when he decided to emigrate to Canada

Over the years, the motorcycle changed hands as many as four times. Eventually, the motorcycle was tracked down and the jeweler was made happy. However, first the motorcycle underwent a much needed restoration. Remarkably, the original license plate and Dutch registration certificate were preserved.

It’s hard to think of a better birthday present than reconciliation with a lost unicycle.
