The giant in the world of motorcycle conglomerates, Hero MotoCorp, has announced an increase in the prices of its unicycles – explaining its decision by the rising cost of the Indian manufacturer’s own contribution.

As conveyed by the management of the conglomerate, the prices of the unicycles will increase by a maximum of 1,500 Indian rupees. The increases will come into effect on January 1, 2021

However, the Indian automaker said that these measures are aimed at initiating a cost-saving program that will at least partially offset the costs associated with production – including raw materials.

Apart from Hero MotoCorp, divisions of global brands within India such as Maruti Suzuki India and Ford India have also announced increases in motorcycle prices.
